Injecting Healthy Beauty: My promise to you

​As your Aesthetic Nurse Injector, my approach is rooted in gently restoring age-related changes with authenticity. I don’t overpromise; instead, I provide educated, honest recommendations that reflect my commitment to helping you look and feel your best. I create a personalized Healthy Beauty Plan, addressing a range of aesthetic concerns through recommended skincare, neuromodulators, lip and facial fillers, skin boosters, and microneedling with radiofrequency (Morpheus8). My philosophy centers on nurturing a healthy, positive connection between you and the reflection that greets you each day.
My Experience
I started my career 25+ years ago as an aesthetician. I then went on to medical aesthetics working with multiple lasers and modalities. I branched out on my own and successfully spearheaded a MedSpa skin clinic in Nanaimo for twelve years where skin health and lasers were at the forefront. In that time I returned to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certified with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCN). I now specialize in cosmetic aesthetic treatments and proudly hold certification from the esteemed Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine (CBAM).

I am a member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetics Specialty Nurses. I also hold the designation of SWAN (Skin Wellness Associate Nurse) and work alongside a board-certified plastic surgeon. My passion has always been skin health and anti-aging. The field of aesthetic medicine is rapidly evolving, and I am dedicated to staying at the forefront through continuous education. I attend yearly cadaver anatomy training along with advanced hands-on injector courses to continually refine my skills and stay current. This commitment ensures not only the highest level of safety and care for my patients but also optimal, natural-looking results.

I’m proud to work alongside Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Jenny Cheng, my medical director at Dr. Jenny Skincare.

Dr. Jenny’s background as a plastic surgeon brings a depth of expertise that truly matters in aesthetic medicine. Her advanced understanding of facial anatomy, aging, surgical and non-surgical balance, and complication management helps guide every treatment decision we make. This level of medical oversight supports not only beautiful outcomes, but most importantly, patient safety.

You’ll also find me working alongside Dr. Jenny in the treatment room, assisting with biopsies and excisions, as well as caring for post-operative surgical patients. This ongoing clinical exposure strengthens my understanding of tissue behavior, healing, and anatomy knowledge that directly informs how I approach injectable treatments.
Working within a medically directed environment allows me to provide aesthetic injections in alignment with BCCNM standards, grounded in collaboration, accountability, and evidence-based care. Dr. Jenny and I share the same philosophy: the best results are subtle, natural, and age-appropriate, with long-term facial health always at the forefront.
